Where your £1 goes

Every ticket sale is split three ways: card processing fees, the monthly winner's prize, and funds for Grayshott Youth FC. We show the maths so there are no surprises.

The split
  1. 1. Card processing fee is deducted first (charged by the payment provider — not by the club).
  2. 2. What's left is split 50 / 50 between the monthly winner and Grayshott Youth FC.

Per-ticket breakdown

Processing fees are lower when you buy in bundles — more goes to the prize and to the club.

Maximum monthly impact

Only 100 numbers (00–99) are available each month, so the maximum any single monthly draw can raise is £100.

  • Max gross revenue£100.00
  • Card fees (if all sold as singles)−£22.00
  • Card fees (if all sold in 10-packs)−£3.50
  • Best case — winner takes home£48.25
  • Best case — to Grayshott Youth FC£48.25

If the winning number isn't sold that month, the prize fund rolls over to the next draw and the club's share is paid out as normal.

Growing the draw

As the lottery grows, the pool of available numbers grows with it — meaning bigger prizes and more funds for the club. The tier only ever moves up, and any change takes effect from the following month so it never interferes with a draw already in progress.

Tier 1 · 100 numbers
Starting tier
£48.25
max prize / max to club
Tier 2 · 250 numbers
90+ of 100 sold
£120.62
max prize / max to club
Tier 3 · 500 numbers
225+ of 250 sold
£241.25
max prize / max to club
Tier 4 · 1,000 numbers
450+ of 500 sold
£482.50
max prize / max to club

Trigger: if 90% or more of available numbers are sold in a month, the next month's draw moves up to the next tier. Tiers never decrease.

Fee figures are based on standard UK card-payment pricing and are indicative; actual fees vary slightly by card type. The 50/50 split of net proceeds is fixed.
